1. Overview

VaultOS sells digital templates and printable products (Notion templates, printable planners, spreadsheets) primarily through our Etsy shop. We also operate a Pinterest application that lets the VaultOS account publish product pins to Pinterest through the official Pinterest API.

This policy explains:

  • What information we handle in connection with Etsy purchases, and
  • How our Pinterest application accesses, uses, protects, and handles Pinterest data.

2. Information We Collect — Etsy Purchases

When you make a purchase through our Etsy shop, Etsy (our payment and transaction processor) shares basic order information with us: your contact name, email address, and the items purchased. We do not store your credit card or payment details — those are processed entirely by Etsy and its payment processors.

We use this information to:

  • Deliver your purchased digital product (Notion template duplicate link or PDF download),
  • Provide customer support and answer your questions,
  • Maintain and improve our products.

3. Pinterest API — Data We Access and Collect

Our Pinterest application uses Pinterest’s official API. Through the Pinterest API, the application accesses and collects the following data:

  • User profile information for the Pinterest account connected to the app (including account username, display name, and account identifier), used so the app can identify which Pinterest account is publishing content.
  • Board information for the connected Pinterest account (board names and identifiers), used so pins can be published to the correct boards.
  • Published pin data (pin identifiers, URLs, and status) that the application creates on the user’s behalf, used to confirm successful posting and to manage pin delivery.

The application does not collect private messages, email addresses, passwords, payment information, or any other Pinterest user data beyond what is needed to publish pins.

4. How Pinterest Data Is Used

Pinterest data accessed through the API is used solely to:

  • Publish VaultOS product pins to the connected Pinterest account’s boards,
  • Organize and manage those published pins, and
  • Provide the pin publishing feature to the account owner.

Pinterest data is not used for any other purpose without separate consent.

5. How Pinterest Data Is Stored and Protected

  • Pinterest data is stored only for as long as needed to operate the pin-publishing feature.
  • We use secure storage for any tokens or identifiers required to call the Pinterest API, and access is restricted to the operator of the application.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share Pinterest data with third parties for their own purposes.
  • Pinterest access tokens are used only to call the Pinterest API on behalf of the connected account.

6. Sharing of Pinterest Data

We do not share Pinterest data with third parties except:

  • As required by law or legal process, or
  • Where necessary to operate our services (for example, API/cloud providers who process data solely on our behalf under confidentiality obligations).

We do not sell, resell, or redistribute Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data to third parties.

7. Disconnecting Your Pinterest Account / Revoking Access

You can disconnect the application from your Pinterest account at any time:

  • In your Pinterest account settings (Apps → Connected apps) you can revoke the application’s access; and/or
  • By removing the app from the connected-application list.

When you disconnect or revoke access:

  • The application immediately stops using your Pinterest data,
  • Any Pinterest access tokens we hold are deleted,
  • Any Pinterest data stored by the application is deleted, and
  • Pins already published to your Pinterest boards remain on your account (they are owned by you and controlled through Pinterest). Published pins can be deleted by you at any time directly in Pinterest.

8. Non-Affiliation Statement

VaultOS is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Pinterest, Inc. or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates. Pinterest is a trademark of Pinterest, Inc. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

9. Cookies and Tracking

Our own pages do not set tracking cookies. Etsy, Pinterest, and other platforms may set their own cookies in line with their respective privacy policies.

10. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold. To exercise any right, ask a question, or make a data request, contact us at:

We respond to privacy questions and data requests in a timely manner.
